M83. Hurry up, we're dreaming

The Frenchie-Spaniard electronic duo M83have now released their 6th album already without anyone ever knowing of them. Almost 80 minutes on 23 tracks definitely satisfies the quantitative threshold, and, despite many critics tearing them apart for not reinventing themselves and producing a emotionally exhausting track featuring a rap star and female vocals in the chorus - (gasping for air) - some songs are really worth disturbing your neighbors with. Just check out Midnight City that will infest itself in your auditory cortex for at least a few good months - not to mention  Year One, One UFO (live) which basically sounds like a really good Coldplay song. Try the album as well, might like it a little.

Drums, The Portamento (means carriage)

If you like The Cure, then you'll like The Drums, although if factually like drums, you may not like The Drums. This is not necessary a bad thing, since the latest album Portamento came out at the peak of the high pitch pseudocastrato singing peak in the world of main- and/or hipster4life-stream music. Be sure to check out the kick-ass song Let's go surfing from the previous album by the Drums “The Drums” (oh, the imagination). Check it peeps.
