Rihanna be ballin'

Next album by a far-out female vocalist (can you tell Christmas times are coming?) - Rihannas "Loud". She brings quintessential beats but also rock ("California King Bed") in a well-furbished package. Thumbs up!

Outside of the hit "Only Girl", she finally delivered a Matisyahu-ish (strange word of the day) reggae track that sounds good to me: "Man Down". And "Raining Men" with Nicki Minaj almost had me kick-ball-change stepping at every stop light on the Saturday jog. Finally, the "Love the way you lie" version 2 with less of Marshall and more of Rihanna definitively blows away the other version.
