B.A. Baracus wannabe Sean Paul Ryan Francis Henriques, in short Sean Paul, has released his new album "Tomahawk Technique". The first two tracks are definitely the best (Got 2 Luv U and She doesn't mind) and the remainder listen-worthy. Proper bass brought by Mr Jam-I-Can in many instances in a loooong and typical album. Good old Paul. Who knew that a new haircut could change nothing. Who knew.

Layer Cake all over again. But I could tell it was a good movie, not just because it was made by a Swede, although I did not get any of it - and I mean any of it... I guess I could still recommend it, as it features the oldest of old men - Gary Oldman and some other Anglo Saxon looking people in trench coats. That is a recipe for success, if anything. But please, be focused when you watch this one otherwise you might find yourself pwned after just 10 minutes. The final scenes were very nice. So. There you go.

The era of making good movies, getting famous for them and continuing this fashion has been replaced by pumping money into Hollywood, pulling dialogs and story lines out of hinder quarters and getting famous for making such movies. Drive, by Nicolas Winding Refn, which I assume is some sort of ruminant fodder, stars moon face Ryan Gosling and a car which he is very good at driving with. To this end, even protective gloves are worn lest cyst formation occur at the hand of the lead character. Expect long silences, lots of blood and crap manuscript. Totally deserves an 8 on IMDB. Good work folks.
French-kissing Frenchie SebastiAn (previously known as Sebastian Akchoté) released 22 track album "Total" few months ago which you can download legally if you are in Switzerland PirateBay link here or you can check out at his MySpace site. Several heavy tracks that will reassure the non-believers that France is the home of electronic music. Be prepared for electronic guitars in the mix of synthesizers and kick-drums. Dubsteppers need not concern. Check it!

French creativists Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel, aka Air, released their new album three days ago; Le Voyage dans la Lune (means "a trip to the moon", you monoglot!). Perfect winter wonderland jogging music, otherwise no track that stands out in your face like their previous hits. Disappointed? Sure. A little. I'll just have to go over it another five-six times and rethink myself...
