Pendulums album immersion will take you from Imogen Heap to Prodigy to Deadmau5 to Slipknot and back again in one single 1 h and 7 minute album. And it is sitll ringing in my ears. Definite buy-warning.

And then down again. The album American slang has not only a vibe or inclination, but pretty much the whole 9 yards when it comes to "sounding like the Killers". They even have a song called "We did it when we were young", yes; when we were young. I mean, come on! No way, this is a thumbs downward.

Love letters from R Kelly

.. and by that I mean of course his new album so don't worry about me. It is basically a lot of love songs, sang in the very persuasive R Kell-ish way. Not really what I had in mind when I went jogging and plugged good old Robert Sylvester Kelly into my ears. I was thinking at least one ignition-esque song, but I got nothing. Nothing, I tells ya!

To the stalls! Stall 6, to be more specific

The Züri-Nightlife also offers horse stalls with gutter at which to party. Apparently, this is not popular as the club is mostly empty, despite the DJ Sexxomodular appearing with a pair of dancers in disguises. I am glad I am not a horse in Switzerland, can tell you that much.

Apart from the odd scenery, Sexxomodular was the true high point, this guy is not sane, or possibly on some sort of psycho-active substance, but the music is actually OK and has enormously deep beats. Second time I see him. Go for a third? Meh...

Garaged in Ohio: Black keys Brothers

This band sounds like Mick Jagger reincarnated (is he still alive?) in a garage where Jack White lives with his parents and sister/girlfriend Meg. For almost one hour they create beautiful music (literally) and record it on an album with a very imaginative cover.

In reality they are two guys from Akron and the singer of course has a beard therefore. The bearded dudes shall inherit the earth. Thumbs up!
